Most hosts assign a fixed point value per correct answer (e.g., 10 points). Some rounds may be "wager rounds" where teams bet a portion of their score. This toolkit automates score calculation, tracks rankings in real-time, and includes an answer checker to speed up the grading process.

A wager round (also called a "betting round" or "final jeopardy") allows teams to wager any amount of their current score on a single question. If they answer correctly, they earn the wagered points. If wrong, they lose those points. This adds strategic excitement and gives trailing teams a chance to catch up. In this toolkit, mark a round as "Wager" when adding it, and use the Answer Checker to input each team's wager amount.

Most pub quizzes have between 3 and 6 rounds, with each round containing 5-10 questions. A common format is 4 rounds of 10 questions each, plus a final wager round. The total event typically runs 60-90 minutes. With this toolkit, you can add as many rounds as you need and customize point values for each.

Ties can be broken with a sudden-death tiebreaker question. Ask both tied teams a single question—the first to answer correctly wins. If both answer correctly or both miss, ask another. This toolkit highlights tied scores in the rankings, making it easy to identify when a tiebreaker is needed before announcing final results.

Simply select the round, toggle each team's result, and click "Apply Scores"—the scoreboard updates instantly. This is much faster than manually typing scores for each team. For extra efficiency, assign each team a number and collect answer sheets in order.

Use the "Export CSV" button to download a permanent backup of all scores. To start fresh, click "New Game" to clear all data.
