It adds your pinfall for each frame while automatically applying bonuses for strikes and spares. Just enter the number of pins knocked down with each roll, and the calculator does the rest using official rules.

A strike (X) means you knocked down all 10 pins with your first roll of a frame. You get 10 points plus the total of your next two rolls. That's why strikes can quickly boost your score.

A spare (/) is when you knock down all remaining pins with your second roll. You score 10 points plus the pins from your next roll.

The 10th frame gives you extra rolls if you strike or spare. A strike in the 10th earns two bonus rolls, and a spare earns one bonus roll. The maximum possible score in the 10th frame is 30 pins.

A perfect game is 300 points, achieved by throwing 12 consecutive strikes (3 in the 10th frame).

In bowling, a strike ends the frame immediately because all pins are cleared. The bonus is added from your next two rolls, which belong to the following frames.
