Unit Price Comparison Tool

Unit price is the cost per standard unit of measure (e.g., per ounce, per liter). It allows you to compare products of different sizes and prices fairly, helping you identify which package gives you the most product for your money. This is especially useful in grocery shopping or bulk buying.

Pick a unit that makes sense for the type of product. For beverages or liquid detergents, per fluid ounce or per liter works best. For larger containers, per gallon may be more intuitive. The tool instantly recalculates whenever you change the comparison unit.

You can mix and match: milliliters (ml), liters (L), US fluid ounces (fl oz), US pints, US quarts, US gallons, and US cups. The calculator converts everything automatically to your chosen comparison unit.

The product with the lowest unit price is considered the best value. Its row is highlighted in green. If two products have exactly the same unit price, both are highlighted.

This tool currently focuses on liquid/volume units. For weight-based products, a similar approach applies — you would want a dedicated weight‑unit comparison (oz, lb, g, kg). We may add that feature in the future.

Yes. Simply enter the final price you pay (after coupons or discounts). The unit price will reflect that final cost, making it easier to see if a "sale" item is actually a better deal than a regular‑priced alternative.
