Simply expand any expense category (Transportation, Accommodation, etc.), add your estimated items with a brief description and cost, and the tool will automatically calculate the total. You can also set an overall budget to see how much you have left or if you're overspending.

Currently, the calculator provides six common categories: Transportation, Accommodation, Food & Drink, Activities, Shopping, and Miscellaneous. You can add an unlimited number of items under each. Custom categories are not supported yet, but you can use Miscellaneous for anything not covered.

All amounts are entered and displayed in USD ($) by default. Since the tool only uses numbers, you can input costs in any currency symbol; the summary will still show a "$" sign. For precise multi-currency planning, consider converting all expenses to your home currency first.

The accuracy depends entirely on the costs you enter. The calculator is a planning tool; we recommend researching average prices for your destination (hotels, meals, transport) and adding a 10–15% buffer for unexpected expenses.

The current version doesn't have a save feature, but you can easily print the page (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P) or take a screenshot. All data resets when you refresh the page, so consider copying the final numbers to a note before leaving.
