Frequently Asked Questions

Simply upload your images by dragging and dropping them into the upload area or clicking to browse. You can reorder them by dragging the image cards. Adjust page size, orientation, and margins in the settings bar, then click "Generate PDF". Once processed, download your merged PDF with a single click. The entire process happens in your browser — no files are uploaded to any server.

Yes! You can drag and drop image cards to rearrange their order. The sequence of images in the final PDF will match the order shown on screen. Each card displays a drag handle on hover, making it easy to reorder on both desktop and mobile devices. On mobile, simply long-press an image card to initiate dragging.

Our tool supports JPEG, PNG, WebP, BMP, and GIF formats. For best results, we recommend using JPEG or PNG images. Large images are automatically resized during PDF generation to keep file sizes manageable. Each image can be up to 50MB. If you have TIFF or SVG files, please convert them to a supported format first.

You can reduce PDF file size by selecting a lower quality setting (Medium or Low) in the Quality dropdown. The "Low" setting compresses images more aggressively, resulting in a smaller PDF. Additionally, choosing "Fit to Page" mode scales images to the page dimensions, which often reduces overall file size compared to using original image dimensions. For extremely large source images, the tool automatically downsamples them to a maximum resolution before embedding.

Absolutely free — no registration, no subscription, no hidden fees. Your privacy is fully protected because all processing happens locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to any server. The PDF is generated entirely on your device using client-side JavaScript. This also means the tool works offline once the page is loaded.

Yes, each image card has a rotate button that rotates the image 90° clockwise. You can click it multiple times to achieve the desired orientation (90°, 180°, 270°, or back to 0°). The rotation is applied during PDF generation, so your final PDF will have correctly oriented pages. This is especially useful for scanned documents or photos taken in portrait mode.

You can choose from A4 (210×297mm — standard internationally), US Letter (215.9×279.4mm — standard in North America), Legal (215.9×355.6mm), or Original which preserves each image's native dimensions. The orientation can be set to Portrait, Landscape, or Auto Detect (which automatically selects the best orientation based on each image's aspect ratio).

Yes! The tool is fully responsive and works on iOS and Android devices. You can upload images from your phone's gallery or camera, reorder them with long-press drag, adjust settings, and generate a PDF — all from your mobile browser. The interface adapts to smaller screens with touch-friendly buttons and an optimized layout.
